Hi everyone, our third meeting of the year was a rapid fire event and we were done and dusted by 8:20pm. Thanks to the 50-ish folks who attended and to Keith Moyle for standing in for Rob Tunnicliff who is away up country. The meeting chair (me!) was a bit all over the place on the night but we got through reasonably unscathed.
Not a lot to report this month but we have a couple of good guest speakers coming up over the next couple of months. They are Paul Riley who some may know and Suzy Balogh, an Olympic Gold Medalist in trap shooting.
We were still under the CovidSafe rules but things are easing and there are no limitations on the number of members wishing to attend our next meeting.
Thanks to Jim Allison for getting out and talking to our advertisers and the good news is that we can now recommence charging for the advertising and therefore start bringing in some more revenue. Although we are in a good position, some new injection of capital will be very welcomed.
Michelle is really working hard for us and is currently looking at venues for our Christmas Party so look out for more information and details shortly. Also check out all the other social events Michelle has organised on the Social Events tab.
Thanks again to City Coast Motorcycles for providing Gerry a beautiful Triumph Trident 660 for us to have a look at. From all reports Gerry was impressed with the Trident. For more information on the Trident there is a more detailed report under Bike reviews.
Well that’s the main points for now but for more information look out in the next e-DR for the minutes.
Next meeting – 12th April 2021
