My ride today was a little unusual, being a Saturday ride, which I often can’t make, anyway, the weather was perfect after overnight rain, which did make the roads a bit wet in parts…bloody typical, as I’d cleaned my bike, but the beautiful day with temps around 18 degrees made up for a little dirt on the bike. At the servo TT was in full flight, telling me that he had organized everyone to come along, as it should be a good run, I think he also said he arranged the weather as well…nice one TT.

The short ride to Bundeena was well attended with 10 bikes and riders eagerly waiting for launch time, we went through Waterfall back past Symbio Wildlife Park to the OPH, down Bulli Pass, left at the bottom and along the coast road, which was a really good run for a Saturday morning, with everyone enjoying the terrific views. Continuing on back into the RNP avoiding many potholes and into Bundeena, we arrived with a reasonable amount of parking, but the Gelato Café I wanted to go to was packed, after confirming with the owner, I couldn’t book a table, which I tried at the servo with a phone call, we all found another very busy café that we were lucky enough to find seating at a couple of tables. The numbers helped here, as Rob Lord and Monkey decided to head home, so now down to 8 people.

After our refreshments, I suggested we say our goodbyes there, as a few boys wanted to head south and the rest heading north, and home. It was a really nice little ride which everyone enjoyed, a big thankyou to TT for the TEC duties, and to all who attended…. until next time.
