Today’s ride started at 8 a.m. Seven of us headed out westward on Heathcote Road, picking up Avago just after ANSTO, then Wayne and Mr Moy at Moorebank. We travelled out along Camden Valley Way, Bringelly Road, and Greendale Road, followed by a run north via Penrith to our morning tea stop at Macca’s Cranbrook, where we were joined by Potsy.

From Macca’s, we continued north via Windsor and Wilberforce, taking King Road, Sackville Road, and Sackville Ferry Road before turning onto River Road for nearly an hour of following the river, leading us to our lunch destination—the Wisemans Inn Hotel—where Tunnels was waiting for us, already hoeing into his lunch.

After enjoying the very pleasant atmosphere in the outdoor area of the Inn, the twelve of us headed out for home via the Old Northern Road, then took Wisemans Ferry Road, Cattai Road, and Pitt Town Road back to Windsor. From there, we returned to Macquarie Street for the run south via Bligh Park, Cranebrook, and Penrith, again taking Greendale Road, Bringelly Road, and Camden Valley Way before a short run along the freeway back to Heathcote Road.
A perfect 20-degree day—thanks to everyone who attended, making it a great day for a great ride. Special thanks to Gorilla for looking after the tail today, and to Brett, our P-plater, and Tunnels for getting them both home the short way.
