A cold overcast morning didn’t stop many of the regular Tuesday riders, with a total of 8 turning up, we all over indulged in a chin wag this morning, it was 9.10 am before the destination discussions took place, I ended up leading the ride, with Gorilla on tail.
We took the Waterfall exit and did the Royal, joining the OPH at the Berg, we next took the Picton Rd exit and did the run down Mt Kierra and back onto the freeway southbound, making an exit at Minamurra and onto Swamp Rd and heading toward Jamberoo before taking Fountaindale Rd left, for the run over Saddleback, and down into Kiama to our destination, Diggies Cafe, on the blowhole Headland. Fortunately, we got a table inside because it was about 12 degrees outside, sustenance was consumed by all, in all forms, B&E roll, fruit and Berry bowl, pasties, milk shakes, tea, coffee, all enjoyed.
We had a very leisurely morning tea before our return journey via swamp Rd again and back onto the freeway north for home, saying our goodbyes at Heathcote.
