Sorry fellas, and of course ladies, no fancy (i.e. A.I. generated) report from me as I believe in the KISS principle – so will keep it as succinct as I can.

Ten brave souls met and left Heathcote for a leisurely cruise to the Robertson Pie shop Before I go on, I was involuntary thrust into the role of Trip Leader as the original one was unable to make it. After a fair bit of self-deliberation decided to continue with the planned destination – no one objected – wonder why? So, off we set on a casual jaunt through the RNP, Otford (for a change), OPH, down Mt. Ousley, Swamp Rd. and up Jamberoo Pass.

Funny, only nine of us got there; Rob (BMW), Dayn (BMW), Bruce (Ducati), Norm (Suzuki), Russell (BMW), Dan (Suzuki), Craig (Triumph), Rick (Harley) and myself (BMW) – seems Half-Way Dave (apparently now, Quarter-Ride Dave) true to his name left us somewhere near Unanderra. Rick departed from us after morning tea to go down Mac. Pass and the rest of us proceeded home via the Tourist Rd (pothole kingdom – just ask my front rim), Range Rd., the ’Y’ towns, Broughton Pass, onto Appin and then various ways home.

Thanks tunnels for acting as Sweep and the two reincarnated members Craig and Dan for making a comeback – hope to see more of you. And, in particular the others on the ride. Might note that according to those that had them the pies were OK, the coffee and service were also very good. I had a wagon wheel and had to take half of it home – not as good as the original ones but still quite appetising.
