Eight of us turned up on a fine, sunny morning at a balmy 14 degrees at Heathcote and Keith Ryan led us off heading to Berry. We took the old highway to Mt Keira which was damp in places. Too damp for the big KTM to continue, due to losing its front brake. Phil was then kindly escorted back by Seagull. Six of us rejoined the freeway and then took the back roads to the Avondale Rd. hill climb (Huntly h/c?) What a hoot! We then proceeded through Jamberoo, Kiama and Gerringong to Berry where we had a break at The Treat Factory.
After coffee and treats we retreated, topped up the thirsty Ducati at Gerringong and hit the freeway, down Bulli Pass, back up the coast road saying goodbye to Jerry and TT. That left Greg, Col, Martin and me to have a final coffee at the previously named Lime Leaf café.
A great, warm, winter ride except for the brake issue with the KTM. Good luck Phil.
