On a perfect autumn day 8 riders left Loftus Oval 8 am.
Perry, Col, Martin, Andy, 3 wheel Dave, Clancy Davo, Whispers. A short day was requested by 2 riders, for an early finish ,It’s been a while since we visited Bundeena so that was our chosen destination. Route was direct, Helensburgh, Bald Hill, Nat park Bundeena.
We were lucky enough to grab a large table as these are usually taken by the locals. Toasties, croissants, b/e rolls and coffee were consumed with lots of laughs.
Time keeper Perry sounded the hooter when it was time to leave. To put a few more klms on the bike we made a quick detour to Maianbar then back to Bertram Stevens Dr. A mobile crane pulled out between the group and seemed reluctant to let the rest of the group go by Eventually all got passed. We stopped opposite the toll booth to say our good byes.
Maybe a longer ride next week weather permitting.
